The Letterbox Man

I rarely read fiction but this was great. I had no idea what what might happen next. Such a simple idea but so beautifully conceived and structured. The language is poetic and draws the reader in, a tragic love story but one of recovery.
I'm lucky enough to have met Laura and heard her speaking publicly. This really wasn't what I expected. Just wonderful. I now look forward to devouring her book of poetry, The Shallows. I also look forward to Laura's next offering.
