A Pillar of Impotence

Mark captures the sheer hell of being mentally ill, in a very moving account of his personal experiences. More importantly than that though he reveals the inadequacies of "the system" when dealing with the mentally ill and the stigma attached to those who are so afflicted. I empathise with Mark very strongly with many of my own personal experiences and feel he has captured very well what it is like for us.

People who are Mentally ill should read this book.

People who are not Mentally ill need to read this book.

Representatives of "The System" (Mental Health services, DSS, etc.) absolutely must read this book !
