About the Author

Yvonne Stewart-Williams has first hand lived experience of paranoid schizophrenia and Erotomania Love addiction. I am also the daughter of a mother who experienced depression and schizophrenia. I am grateful to Prince William, Prince Harry and Kate for ‘Heads Together’.

Saturday 28th November 2015
Dear Yvonne,
My beloved sixteen year old son James has just left my abode, after a six hour unsupervised ‘quality time’ contact session. James is making his way back unescorted to his Looked-After Foster placement; which is located five minutes’ walk away. James and I spent our time in doors, his choice, eating McDonald’s and watching YouTube videos. I informed my son that Rose, - his long term Social Worker is still off sick and Ingrid, her temporary replacement is also currently off sick; but I met with Jonathan his Social Services’ representatives, yesterday, and was given permission for James to arrive at my home at 06:30hrs on Saturday 12th December 2015, so that I can take him to the London School of Gliding, for a day school course of glider flying in Leagraves Bedfordshire. I explained that this is a 2015 Xmas present to him from me. I also told my son that I have obtained consent for his foster carers to apply for his driving licence; so that I can arrange for my son to have a driving lesson on his seventeenth birthday. My son is delighted that I have recently been elected onto the 2015/2016 London Assembly Executive of the Open University Student Association. I am in my second year of a part-time Combined Social Science with Social Policy degree and I although I have recently found out that I have to resit my last exam.
