Drowning and Flying

Black mirror, dark as dark,
Embrace me and drown my silence.
Drag me to your depths
And hold me in your comforting arms.

Dark mirror, black as black,
Grant me inevitable peace.
May my last breath
Rise to your surface and be gone.

Dark mirror, do not fear,
For in the morning, you will be
Sparkling silver-blue,
Reflecting the sun and the sky
And my soul will float up
To your surface and fly,

And my hatred gone, I will be free.
